PHASE I - SCHEMATIC DESIGN. 2.1.1 The Architect/Engineer shall review and analyze the Project provided by the Owner to ascertain the requirements of the Project; shall arrive at a mutual understanding of such requirements with the Owner; shall commit such understanding to writing; and shall provide a copy of said writing to the Owner for approval before proceeding with the preliminary designs. 2.1.2 The Architect/Engineer shall provide a preliminary evaluation of the Project, schedule, and construction budget requirements, each in terms of the other, subject to the any limitations set forth in this Agreement. 2.1.3 The Architect/Engineer shall provide services to investigate existing conditions of facilities and/or to make measured drawings thereof.
