The Physical Connection clause defines the requirements and responsibilities related to establishing and maintaining the physical links between parties, such as infrastructure, equipment, or facilities necessary for service delivery. Physical Connection. 3.1 The Parties agree to physically connect their respective networks, at POI(s) so as to furnish Local/EAS Traffic between Midcontinent and ILEC End User Customers only in the Exchange Areas stated in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. The exchange of traffic to other ILEC exchanges is not part of this Agreement. This Agreement is expressly limited to the transport and termination of Local/EAS Traffic originated by and terminated to End User Customers of the Parties to this Agreement, at the POIs located at the LEC's switch in Herreid, South Dakota, CLLI code IPSWSDXARSO. 3.2 Direct Interconnection Facilities between the Parties’ networks shall be provisioned as two-way interconnection trunks. The dedicated interconnection facilities shall meet the Telcordia BOC Notes on LEC Network Practice No. SR – TSV – 002275.
Physical Connection. 2.1 The Parties shall exchange Local/EAS Traffic and tSP-Bound Traffic over Direct Interconnection Facilities between their networks. ILEC's Fort Mill End Office Switch (FTMLSCXBRS0) is a remote off of the Rock Hill Telephone Company ("RHTC") host End Office Switch. The Parties agree to physically connect their respective networks so as to exchange such Local/EAS and ISP-Bound Traffic, with the Point of Interconnection (POI) designated at RHTC's Rock Hill host End Office Switch (RCHLSCXB32S). 2.2 The POI is the location where one Party's operational and financial responsibility begins, and the other Party's operational and financial responsibility ends for Local/EAS Traffic and ISP-Bound Traffic. Each Party will be financially responsible for all facilities and traffic located on its side of the POI. 2.3 The Direct Interconnection Facilities shall be provisioned as two-way interconnection trunks, where technically feasible. Physical Connection. 2.1 The Parties shall exchange Local/EAS Traffic and ISP-Bound Traffic over Direct Interconnection Facilities between their networks. The Parties agree to physically connect their respective networks so as to exchange such Local/EAS and ISP- Bound Traffic, with the Point of Interconnection (POD designated at ILEC's switch (Switch CLLI). 2.2 Direct Interconnection Facilities between the Parties' networks shall be provisioned as two-way interconnection trunks. The supervisory signaling specifications, and the applicable network channel interface codes for the dedicated interconnection facilities, are the same as those used for Feature Group D Switched Access Service, as described in ILEC's applicable Switched Access Services tariff. 2.3 ILEC and CLEC may utilize existing and new Direct Interconnection Facilities procured in any wireline capacity for the mutual exchange of Local/EAS, ISP- Bound Traffic and toll traffic. Local/EAS Traffic, ISP-Bound Traffic and toll traffic will be provisioned on separate trunk groups within the same facility. The charges for usage and underlying trunks shall be subject to the appropriate compensation based on jurisdiction and the cost-sharing provisions as provided in Section 3.1.4 of this Attachment.
Physical Connection. Dedicated facilities between the Parties' networks shall be provisioned as two- way interconnection trunks, and shall only carry IntraLATA traffic originated or terminated directly between each Parties End User Customers. Physical Connection. 3.1 The Parties agree to physically connect their respective networks, at a POI on the ILEC’s network, to furnish Local/ELCS/EAS Traffic and ISP-Bound Traffic between CLEC or Retail Provider End User Customers and ILEC End User Customers only in the ILEC service area. This Agreement is expressly limited to the transport and termination of Local/ELCS/EAS Traffic and ISP-Bound Traffic originated by and terminated to End User Customers of the Parties to this Agreement, or to End User Customers of CLEC’s Retail Provider, at the POI located at the switch [BRZRTXXADS0]. 3.2 Direct Interconnection Facilities between the Parties’ networks shall be provisioned as two-way interconnection trunks. 3.3 The dedicated interconnection facilities shall meet accepted industry practice and standard technical specifications.

This Agreement is expressly limited to the transport and termination of Local/ELCS/EAS Traffic and ISP-Bound Traffic originated by and terminated to End User Customers of the Parties to this Agreement or to End User Customers of Level 3 Communications, LLC’s Retail Provider at the mutually agreed upon POIs located on the ILEC’s network. 3.2 Direct Interconnection Facilities between the Parties’ networks shall be provisioned as two-way interconnection trunks. Physical Connection. 2.1 The Parties shall exchange Local and/or EAS Traffic and ISP Bound Traffic over Direct Interconnection Facilities between their networks. The Parties agree to physically connect their respective networks so as to exchange such Local and/or EAS Traffic and ISP Bound Traffic, with the Point of Interconnection (POI) designated at a technically feasible point on the ILEC’s network within its Local Exchange Area. The Parties have agreed that the Points of Interconnection for Baltic and Crooks shall be designated at 43 degrees, 45.697 minutes north latitude, 96 degrees, 44.395 west longitude for Baltic; and 43 degrees, 39.695 minutes north latitude, 96 degrees, 48.625 minutes west longitude, respectively. The parties agree that the connections used for interconnection can be segmented for ISP, EAS and Local traffic. 2.2 Direct Interconnection Facilities between the Parties’ networks shall be provisioned as two-way interconnection trunks. The dedicated interconnection facilities shall meet the Telcordia standards. 2.3 ILEC and CLEC may utilize existing and new wireline Direct Interconnection Facilities for the mutual exchange of Local and/or EAS Traffic and ISP Bound Traffic. Toll traffic shall not be routed on the same facility as Local and/or EAS Traffic and ISP Bound Traffic. The charges for usage and underlying trunks shall be subject to the appropriate Party’s Tariffs based on jurisdiction of the traffic.
Physical Connection. 2.1. The Parties shall exchange IntraLATA Traffic over Direct Interconnection Facilities between their networks. The Parties agree to physically connect their respective networks so as to exchange such IntraLATA Traffic, with the manner of interconnection mutually agreed by the Parties and the Point of Interconnection (POI) designated at a mutually agreeable and technically feasible point in ILEC’s Service Territory on ILEC’s network. 2.2. Each Party will be financially responsible for all facilities and traffic located on its side of the POI. 2.3. Direct Interconnection Facilities shall be provisioned as two-way interconnection trunks, where technically feasible. The Direct Interconnection Facilities shall meet the Telcordia BOC Notes on LEC ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇. ▇▇ – ▇▇▇ - ▇▇▇▇▇▇. 2.4. ILEC and CLEC may utilize existing and/or new Direct Interconnection Facilities procured in any wireline capacity for the mutual exchange of IntraLATA Traffic. By agreement of the Parties, separate trunks may be provisioned on the Direct Interconnection Facilities for IntraLATA Traffic and InterLATA Traffic. 2.5. Direct Interconnection Facilities
Physical Connection. 3.1 The Parties agree to physically connect their respective networks so as to exchange Local/ELCS/EAS Traffic, Tandem Transit Service Traffic, Jointly Provided Switched Access (JPSA) Traffic and ISP-Bound Traffic only in the ILEC service area. Except for Tandem Transit and JPSA traffic as provided herein, this Agreement is otherwise expressly limited to the transport and termination of Local/ELCS/EAS Traffic, and ISP-Bound Traffic originated by and terminated to End User Customers of the Parties to this Agreement, or to End User Customers of CLEC’s Retail Provider.
