Common use of PIPEDA Clause in Contracts

PIPEDA. The Union and the Employer agree to endorse the principles outlined in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. The Union and the Employer also agree to apply privacy protection principles to any personal information that is disclosed to either party during the course of the administration of the collective agreement and the collective bargaining relationship. The Union and the Employer agree that the Employer's privacy policy shall govern both the Union's and the Employer's obligations to protect personal information about employees.
