Common use of Policy Violations Clause in Contracts

Policy Violations. 10.01 The following conduct by an employee may be considered a violation of this Policy and may be the basis for an employer to impose progressive discipline in accordance with the legal principle of just cause: (a) A violation by an employee of any prohibition under Article 3.01; (b) A violation by an employee of any reporting obligation under Articles 3.02 or 3.05; (c) Failure to contact the Medical Review Officer as directed; (d) Failure to report as directed for testing; (e) Switching, adulterating, or attempting to tamper with any sample submitted for drug or alcohol testing, or otherwise interfering or attempting to interfere with the testing process; and (f) Refusal to submit a specimen for testing.
