Common use of Pollution Clause in Contracts

Pollution. arising directly or indirectly out of, based upon or attributable to: a The actual, alleged or threatened presence, discharge, dispersal, release or escape of Pollutants; or b The testing for, monitoring, cleaning up, removing, containing, treating, detoxifying or neutralising Pollutants, whether or not any of the foregoing are or should be performed by the Insured or by others.

Pollution. Based upon or arising directly or indirectly out of, based upon or attributable to: a The : i. the actual, alleged or threatened presence, discharge, dispersal, release or escape of PollutantsPollutants into or upon land, the atmosphere or any water course or body of water, whether such discharge, dispersal, release or escape is intentional or accidental; or ii. any direction or b The testing request to test for, monitoringmonitor, cleaning clean up, removingremove, containingcontain, treatingtreat, detoxifying detoxify or neutralising neutralize Pollutants, whether or not any of the foregoing are or should be performed by the Insured or by others.
