Common use of Portable Devices Clause in Contracts

Portable Devices. The following restrictions apply to storing Confidential Information on portable devices: (a) Company Data may not be stored on any portable device, including but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, mobile devices, MP3 devices, and USB devices, except as authorized by Company; (b) Company Data containing any Personal Information or any information concerning any third party may not be stored on portable devices including, but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, mobile devices, MP3 devices, and USB devices unless approved by Company and the Company Data on the devices is encrypted and secured from unauthorized access; and (c) All other Confidential Information may not be stored on portable devices including, but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, and MP3 devices unless the devices are password protected to secure them from unauthorized access.

The following restrictions apply to storing Recipient Confidential Information on portable devices: (a) Company Data may not be stored on any portable device5.4.1 Recipient Production Data, including but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, mobile devices, MP3 devices, and USB devices, except as authorized by Company; (b) Company Data containing any Personal Information or any information concerning any third party may not be stored on portable devices including, but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, mobile devices, MP3 devices, and USB devices unless approved by Company and the Company Recipient Production Data on the devices Devices is encrypted and secured from unauthorized access; and. (c) 5.4.2 All other Recipient Confidential Information may not be stored on portable devices including, but not limited to, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, and MP3 devices unless the devices are password protected to secure them from unauthorized access.
