Common use of Possible Extension of the Interim Period Clause in Contracts

Possible Extension of the Interim Period. The Signatories agree that if the Commission rescinds its approval of GMO’s continued participation in SPP as a result of a filing under Section II.A.(2)(d), II.C, or II.E(4) of this Stipulation, such a Commission decision to rescind would have to be issued by the Commission no later than twenty-four (24) months prior to the end of the 2018 Interim Period or Extended Interim Period in order for GMO to be able to withdraw by the end of the 2018 Interim Period or Extended Interim Period. In the event that the Commission issues such a rescission order less than twenty-four (24) months prior to the end of the 2018 Interim Period or Extended Interim Period, the Signatories agree that the Extended Interim Period shall be of sufficient duration to provide for an exit period of at least twenty-four (24) months.
