Common use of Power System Stabilizers Clause in Contracts

Power System Stabilizers. Interconnection Customer shall procure, install, maintain and operate power system stabilizers in accordance with the guidelines and procedures established by the Applicable Reliability Council. Transmission Provider and Transmission Owner reserve the right to reasonably establish minimum acceptable settings for any installed power system stabilizers, subject to the design and operating limitations of the Generating Facility. If the Generating Facility’s power system stabilizers are removed from service or are not capable of automatic operation, Interconnection Customer shall immediately notify the Transmission Provider’s system operator, or its designated representative. The requirements of this paragraph shall not apply to induction generators.
