PREAMBLE AND RECOGNITION. Section 1.1 The Company recognizes the Union as the sole collective bargaining agency for those employees of 401 Westbound Esso on ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ coining within the Order of Certification of the Union, as now existing or as may be amended from time to time by the Labour Relations Board of the Province of Ontario. The Order of Certification directs that the unit shall comprise "all employees of 401 Westbound Esso employed at the Service Centre, on Highway 401 at Newcastle, save and except Driveway Manager, persons above the rank of Driveway Manager, office and clerical staff, persons regularly employed for not more than twenty-four (24) hours per week and students employed during the school vacation period." Section 1.2 When supervisors are appointed, a notice to that effect will be posted on the bulletin board. Section 1.3 The effective date of this Collective Agreement shall be November 1, 2006, and the term shall be from this date to October 31, 2009. Section 1.4 The Union as well as all members thereof, agree at all times as fully as it can be in their power, to further the interest of this Company and of the employer.
