Precautions and Protection. The DBOM Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions for the health and safety of, and shall provide all reasonable protection to prevent damage, injury or loss to: (1) All employees and other persons who may be present on the Project Site; (2) All the Design-Build Work, whether in storage on or off the Project Site, under the care, custody or control of the DBOM Contractor or any of its Subcontractors. Machinery and equipment shall have proper guards in place and all hazards shall be eliminated in accordance with the latest health and safety provisions of the OSHA Construction Industry Regulations 29 CFR, Parts 1910 and 1926; and (3) Other property at the Project Site or adjacent thereto, including plant facilities, trees, shrubs, lawns, archaeological pit caves, walks, pavements, roadways, structures and Utilities not designated for removal, relocation or replacement in the course of construction. The DBOM Contractor shall erect and maintain, as required by existing conditions and the Contract Standards, reasonable safeguards for safety and protection, including posting danger signs and other warnings against hazards, promulgating safety regulations, and notifying owners and users of adjacent sites and utilities. Precautions and Protection. The Design-Builder shall take necessary precautions for safety of, and shall provide necessary protection to prevent damage, injury or loss to: (1) Employees on the Site and other persons who may be affected thereby; (2) The Work and materials and equipment to be incorporated therein, whether in storage on or off the Site, under care, custody or control of the Design-Builder or the Design-Builder's Subcontractors or Sub-subcontractors; and (3) Other property at the Site or adjacent thereto, such as trees, shrubs, lawns, walks, pavements, roadways, structures, and utilities not designated for removal, relocation, or replacement in the course of construction.

  • SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROGRAMS The Contractor shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the Work.

  • Safety and Protection Where applicable, the PERFORMING PARTY shall be responsible for requiring employees, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain and supervise all necessary safety precautions and programs in connection with the Grant Activities. The PERFORMING PARTY shall take all necessary precautions to protect the health and safety of the public during performance of the Grant Activities.

  • SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF PROPERTY The Contractor shall at all times: A. Initiate, maintain and supervise all safety precautions and programs in connection with its services or performance of its operations under this contract. B. Take all reasonable precautions to prevent injury to employees, including County employees and all other persons affected by their operations. C. Take all reasonable precautions to prevent damage or loss to property of Orange County, or of other Contractors, consultants or agencies and shall be held responsible for replacing or repairing any such loss or damage. D. Comply with all ordinances, rules, regulations, standards and lawful orders from authority bearing on the safety of persons or property or their protection from damage, injury or loss. This includes but is not limited to: o Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) o National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) o National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) o American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) E.   • Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults The Supplier will comply with all applicable legislation and codes of practice, including, where applicable, all legislation and statutory guidance relevant to the safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable adults and with the British Council’s Child Protection Policy, as notified to the Supplier and amended from time to time, which the Supplier acknowledges may include submitting to a check by the UK Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) or the equivalent local service; in addition, the Supplier will ensure that, where it engages any other party to supply any of the Services under this Agreement, that that party will also comply with the same requirements as if they were a party to this Agreement.

  • System Protection To prevent compromise of systems which contain DSHS Data or through which that Data passes: a. Systems containing DSHS Data must have all security patches or hotfixes applied within 3 months of being made available. b. The Contractor will have a method of ensuring that the requisite patches and hotfixes have been applied within the required timeframes. c. Systems containing DSHS Data shall have an Anti-Malware application, if available, installed. d. Anti-Malware software shall be kept up to date. The product, its anti-virus engine, and any malware database the system uses, will be no more than one update behind current.
