Common use of Preliminary Design Documents Clause in Contracts

Preliminary Design Documents. Design-Builder shall submit for Owner’s written approval Preliminary Design Documents, based on the Owner’s Program and other relevant information. Preliminary Design Documents shall include drawings, outline specifications and other conceptual documents as further defined herein illustrating the Project's basic elements, scale and their relationship to the site. One set of these Documents shall be furnished to Owner. Design-Builder shall update the preliminary schedule and preliminary estimate based on the Preliminary Design Documents.
