Prep Time Clause Samples

The "Prep Time" clause defines the amount of time allocated for preparation before the commencement of a particular activity or service under the agreement. Typically, this clause specifies how much advance notice or lead time is required for one party to prepare necessary materials, personnel, or equipment. For example, it may require a service provider to have a set number of hours or days to get ready before starting work. The core function of this clause is to ensure both parties have clear expectations regarding scheduling and readiness, thereby reducing the risk of delays or misunderstandings.
