Common use of Primary Project Sponsor Clause in Contracts

Primary Project Sponsor. As the primary Sponsor to a project agreement with NYSDOT, the Sponsor is responsible for all aspects of the project and is accountable for all State and Federal funding requirements whether it is directly or indirectly involved in the project and/or whether it has no interest in said project or its interests are greater than or less than the other participating party/parties. The Sponsor is also responsible for complying with all applicable State and Federal statutes, rules, regulations, and re- quirements.
