Common use of Private Utility Locating Clause in Contracts

Private Utility Locating.  Advanced Underground Utility Locating (AUU) will coordinate 811 Utility Locate services to get owners to locate as much of their facilities as possible.  AUU will utilize electromagnetic, static, diode, and ground penetrating radar equipment to field locate and ▇▇▇▇ underground utilities within the proposed sewer alignments on private properties within the Crown Villa RV Park and Quail Ridge properties, as well as field locating required for the new service on ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Road.  City staff will obtain any necessary rights‐of‐entry approvals for access to private property prior to conducting any field investigations.  City will coordinate any approvals required for survey or utility locating within the public right‐ of‐way.
