Probation Extension. The probationary period of an employee may be extended for up to ninety (90) calendar days with the approval of the Director. No probationary period may be extended beyond ninety (90) calendar days. Notice of an extension and the reason for the extension shall be provided to the employee in writing prior to the end of the probation period.
