Procedure for Processing Grievances. 14 Grievances shall be processed as rapidly as possible. However, the grievant must present the written 15 grievance within 30 calendar days after the grievant becomes aware of the action. Time limits under unusual 16 circumstances may be extended by written mutual consent, including when work schedules are interrupted 17 for vacations and school breaks. Facts and evidence shall be furnished to the Association and the District 18 and witnesses shall be made available for questioning. The Association and the District shall have the right 19 to explore all areas to gather facts pertaining to the grievance and represent a grievant or process a 20 grievance at any step.
