Professional Committees. Professional Committees shall be established in accordance with this Article, for the purpose of maintaining communications to cooperatively discuss issues of mutual concern and to promote a climate of professionalism and constructive employee/Employer relations. The parties are committed to attempt to resolve issues of mutual concern. Agendas for all meetings will be exchanged in advance so that both parties are prepared to discuss the issues. The parties shall have appropriate decision makers in attendance at meetings.
Professional Committees. When approved by the Superintendent of Schools prior to the meeting, the Rossford Board of Education shall pay the cost of a substitute for absence due to attendance at professional meetings by Association officers which are financed by the Rossford Association of Classroom Teachers. The intent of this section is to pay for substitute costs made necessary by meetings which are at some distance from the Rossford District and not to pay substitute costs for meetings in or near the Rossford District. No more than (4) days per school year shall be approved for each officer of the Association.
Professional Committees. It is agreed that as district professional councils and/or committees on curriculum are formed, consideration will be afforded to representation thereon by Unit IV members. Where in the Superintendent’s discretion it is appropriate to do so, one member of this unit shall be part of the District’s Educational Advisory Committee.

The parties agree that within six (6) months of ratification, joint Facility Professional Committee, Regional Professional Committee and Agency Professional Committee training will be established for each Agency. This training will be coordinated through the Office of Collective Bargaining.
Professional Committees. ‌ The Parties agree to establish committees composed of persons appointed by the Board and the Association or by mutual agreement. The committees shall discuss overall relations between the Parties, exchange information, receive suggestions, consider problems, offer solutions, and discuss improvements in situations of mutual concern.
Professional Committees. Recognizing the need for meaningful professional development, a committee consisting of four (4) administrators (secondary and elementary), selected by the Superintendent, and four (4) educators (secondary and elementary), selected by the Association President, will meet to allow for the Association to provide input into district-wide in-service and professional development plans and programming. The committee will report to the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and the HCTA President no later than May 1st annually indicating any changes made for the following school year or any recommendations that may affect the Master Contract.

  • Joint Committees 1101 Release Time (a) Basic pay or equivalent time off, with a minimum of one (1) hour guaranteed to nurses who are not on duty, will be granted to nurses appointed by the Union to attend meetings of the Union Management Committee and any other Facility joint committee to which the Union is required to appoint representatives. (b) All reasonable efforts will be made to relieve a nurse who is appointed to attend meetings of the Union Management Committee, Nursing Advisory Committee or any other facility joint committee to which the Union is required to appoint representatives, without loss of salary or benefits. This clause is applicable when the meeting(s) occurs during hours the nurse is otherwise scheduled to work. 1102 Union Management Committee The Employer and the Union agree to establish and maintain a Union Management Committee consisting of not less than two (2) persons appointed by each of the parties. Management representatives shall include the Administrator and/or Director of Nursing; Union representatives shall include the President and/or Vice-President of the Local. Appointments shall be made for a term of one (1) year but without limit on the number of consecutive terms a member may serve. The Committee shall meet at the request of either party subject to five (5) days notice being given but not less than bi-monthly unless otherwise mutually agreed.
