Professional Engineering Services Clause Samples

The 'Professional Engineering Services' clause defines the scope and standards for engineering work provided under an agreement. It typically outlines the types of engineering tasks to be performed, the qualifications required of the professionals involved, and the expectations for compliance with applicable laws and industry standards. For example, it may specify that only licensed engineers can perform certain design or review functions, or that all work must meet local building codes. This clause ensures that engineering services are delivered competently and legally, thereby protecting both parties from substandard work and potential liability.
