The Professional Excellence clause sets a standard requiring parties, typically service providers or professionals, to perform their duties with a high level of skill, care, and diligence expected in their field. Professional Excellence. Subject to the provisions of this clause 8, a Teacher who meets the requirements of Professional Excellence as defined in clause 3(r), is entitled to receive an annual Professional Excellence Allowance in the amount set out in Table 3 of Schedule 1. The Allowance will be payable from the first full pay period on or after the Teacher is assessed as meeting the requirements for the Professional Excellence Allowance. If the Teacher is assessed by ISTAA as no longer meeting the ISTAA Professional Excellence standards or the Teacher's accreditation at Highly Accomplished Teacher level by the NESA or TQI is revoked, the Teacher will cease to be entitled to be paid the Professional Excellence Allowance from the first full pay period on or after the assessment or revocation.
Professional Excellence. Delivery of services to the public in the most efficient, effective and productive manner is of paramount importance to the Employer, the Association and its members. Such achievement is recognized to be a goal of all the parties as they perform their respective roles and meet their responsibilities.
Professional Excellence. A teacher may be required to take work beyond the bachelor's or master's degree when, in the judgement of the Principal and Superintendent, it is necessary for needed improvement. Reimbursement shall be as follows: 8.3.1. Full tuition if a grade of "A" or "B" or "Pass" (in a pass/fail course) is earned, no tuition is paid if the grade is less than an "A", "B" or "Pass"; 8.3.2. Teachers who receive reimbursement under this provision may not claim additional reimbursement under any other provision of this Agreement.

(c) If the Teacher is assessed by ISTAA as no longer meeting the ISTAA Professional Excellence standards or the Teacher’s accreditation at Highly Accomplished Teacher level by the BOSTES is revoked, the Teacher will cease to be ent itled to be pai d the Professional Excellence Allowance from the first full pay period on or after the assessment or revocation.

  • Design Professional The architect or engineer or architectural or engineering firm selected by Owner (i) for the design and preparation of Contract Documents governing the construction of a Project, or (ii) for construction contract administration under the Contract Documents, or (iii) for both, all such services and the scope thereof to be set forth in the Design Professional Contract. The Design Professional is not an employee of the Owner but is engaged or retained by it for the purpose of performing design and construction administration services for the project. The term “Design Professional” includes architects, engineers, surveyors, designers, and other consultants retained by the Design Professional.

  • PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR Teachers are expected to comply with reasonable rules, regulations, and directions adopted by the Board, or its representatives, which are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement, provided that a teacher may reasonably refuse to carry out an order which threatens physical safety or well being or is professionally demeaning.
