Common use of Program Logic Clause in Contracts

Program Logic. The M&E Plan will be built on a logic model which illustrates how the Program, Projects and Activities contribute to the Compact Goal and the Project Objectives. (a) The objective of the Community-Based Nutrition Project is to reduce and prevent low birth weight, childhood stunting and malnourishment of children in project areas. This will lead to an increase household incomes through cost savings, increases in productivity and higher lifetime earnings; (b) The objectives of the GP Project are to (i) increase productivity and reduce reliance on fossil fuels by expanding renewable energy; and (ii) increase productivity and reduce land-based greenhouse gas emissions by improving land use practices and management of natural resources. These objectives support low carbon economic development and the protection of natural capital that will lead to increased household incomes in project areas; and (c) The objectives of the Procurement Modernization Project are to (i) achieve significant government expenditure savings on procured goods and services; and to (ii) improve the delivery of public services through expenditure of planned budgets.
