Common use of Project Construction Clause in Contracts

Project Construction. (a) The Developer will substantially complete the Project Improvements by July 1, 2025, subject to Section 3.8. Substantial completion shall be determined by the City’s acceptance or deemed acceptance of the Certificate of Substantial Completion pursuant to Section 3.7. (b) Upon reasonable advance notice from the City, the Developer and its project team shall meet with the Mayor, the City Manager and such other City staff and consultants as designated by the Mayor or the City Manager to review and discuss the design and construction of the Work to enable the City to monitor the status of construction and the aesthetics of the Work and to determine that the Work is being performed and completed in accordance with this Agreement and the Municipal Code. (c) Construction of the Work shall be pursued in a good and workmanlike manner in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
