Project Experience. The City of Los Alamitos has participated in the CDBG program for many years. In 2010- 11, the City received a CDBG grant of $200,000 for an alleyway project which was completed successfully. In 2011-12 the City received a CDBG grant of $88,058 for handicap access ramps which was completed successfully. We were also awarded a $146,325 grant for 2012-13 for ADA ramps and curbs which has been completed. In 2014-15 the City was awarded $126,000 for the Apartment Row Alley Improvement project. In 2015-16 and in 2016-17, the City was awarded $135,000 for the continuation of the Apartment Row Alley project and $90,000 in FY2017-18 for Cerritos Street Improvements.
