Common use of Project Superintendent Clause in Contracts

Project Superintendent. ‌ The contractor shall designate in writing before starting work a project superintendent who will be present at the job site full time. Although the superintendent may or may not have the authority to represent and act for the contractor, the project superintendent shall be present at the site of the work at all times while work is actually in progress.
