Project Survey Clause Samples

The Project Survey clause establishes the requirement for conducting a formal survey of the project site or scope before work begins. Typically, this involves a designated party—such as the contractor or an independent surveyor—inspecting the site to document existing conditions, boundaries, or any potential obstacles that could affect the project. By ensuring that all parties have an accurate and agreed-upon understanding of the project's starting conditions, this clause helps prevent disputes over site conditions and clarifies responsibilities, thereby reducing the risk of delays or unexpected costs during the project.
