Projects and Programs. (a) Because of the unique student population of the District, there are many special Federal and State funded programs, the successful implementation of which requires the cooperation of unit members and the District administrative staff. (b) The District agrees to provide opportunity for teacher input prior to adopting educational programs. (c) Approved programs must be prepared for implementation before the first instructional day of each school year. (d) No program coordinator shall establish or pursue any procedures which will increase the unit members work load without providing reasonable assistance to handle this increased workload.

Pursue and/or communicate take positions on support appropriate State and Federal legislation relevant to integrated regional water management planning, as appropriate.

  • PUBLIC CONTRACTS AND PROCUREMENT FRAUD Contractor represents and warrants that, within the three (3) year period prior to this Contract, neither Contractor nor its principals or affiliates: (a) have been convicted of or had a civil judgment rendered against them for commission of fraud or a criminal offence in connection with obtaining, attempting to obtain, or performing a public (federal, state, local, or tribal) contract or purchase order under a public contract; (b) have been in violation of federal or state antitrust statutes or commission of embezzlement, theft, forgery, bribery, falsification or destruction of records, making false statements or receiving stolen property; (c) have been indicted for or otherwise criminally or civilly charged by a government entity (federal, state, local, or tribal) with commission of any of the offense enumerated in subsection (b) of this provision; or (d) had one or more public contracts (federal, state, local, or tribal) terminated for cause or default.

  • Covered Contracts and Contractors If the Contract exceeds $100,000 and the Contractor employed more than 40 full-time employees on a single working day during the previous 12 months in Minnesota or in the state where it has its principal place of business, then the Contractor must comply with the requirements of Minn. Stat. § 363A.36 and Minn. R. 5000.3400-5000.3600. General. Minn. R. 5000.3400-5000.3600 implements Minn. Stat. § 363A.36. These rules include, but are not limited to, criteria for contents, approval, and implementation of affirmative action plans; procedures for issuing certificates of compliance and criteria for determining a contractor’s compliance status; procedures for addressing deficiencies, sanctions, and notice and hearing; annual compliance reports; procedures for compliance review; and contract consequences for non-compliance. The specific criteria for approval or rejection of an affirmative action plan are contained in various provisions of Minn. R. 5000.3400-5000.3600 including, but not limited to, Minn.   • Solicitations for Subcontracts, Including Procurements of Materials and Equipment In all solicitations, either by competitive bidding, or negotiation made by the contractor for work to be performed under a subcontract, including procurements of materials, or leases of equipment, each potential subcontractor or supplier will be notified by the contractor of the contractor’s obligations under this contract and the Acts and the Regulations relative to Non-discrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.
