Common use of Proof of service Clause in Contracts

Proof of service. In proving service of a demand, notice, communication or other document served: (a) by post, it shall be sufficient to prove that such demand, notice, communication or other document was correctly addressed, full postage paid and posted; and (b) by fax, it shall be sufficient to prove that the fax was followed by such machine record as indicates that the entire fax was sent to the relevant number.

Proof of service. In proving service of a any demand, notice, communication or other document served: (a) 32.4.1 by post, it shall be sufficient to prove that such demand, notice, communication or other document was correctly addressed, full postage paid and posted; and (b) 32.4.2 by fax, it shall be sufficient to prove that the fax was followed by such machine record as indicates that the entire fax was sent to the relevant number.
