Proper Training and Education. (a) No employee shall be required to operate any piece of equipment or begin work unassisted in any classification until he/she has received proper training and instruction. Company training materials related to Health and Safety will be reviewed by the Health & Safety Committee and reasonable amendments to the material shall be made if requested. (b) The Company shall notify the Health & Safety Committee and all workers exposed to a particular toxic substance or safety hazard of the dangers they face, possible symptoms, necessary medical tests and treatment, and plans to eliminate the hazard. (c) The Company will cover the course fees, registration, expenses, and wages at applicable rates for each Health & Safety Committee member to attend one (1) day of Union recommended safety training each year.
