The 'Proposal to Owner' clause defines the process by which a contractor or service provider formally submits a plan, estimate, or offer to the owner for approval. Typically, this clause outlines the required format, content, and timing for proposals, and may specify supporting documentation or information that must accompany the submission. Its core function is to ensure that the owner receives clear, complete, and timely proposals, facilitating informed decision-making and reducing misunderstandings during the project.
Proposal to Owner. The GMP Proposal must be prepared in accordance with the guidelines and delivered in the format specified by Owner in the attached exhibits. Owner, at its sole option and discretion, may specify different requirements for the GMP Proposal. Construction Manager shall not withdraw its Guaranteed Maximum Price Proposal for ninety (90) days following submission to Owner.

  • STOP WORK NOTICE The City may issue an immediate Stop Work Notice in the event the Contractor is observed performing in a manner that is in violation of Federal, State, or local guidelines, or in a manner that is determined by the City to be unsafe to either life or property. Upon notification, the Contractor will cease all work until notified by the City that the violation or unsafe condition has been corrected. The Contractor shall be liable for all costs incurred by the City as a result of the issuance of such Stop Work Notice.

  • Proposal Format To facilitate efficiency and consistency in proposal evaluation the following is mandatory. Proposals which do not follow this direction may be rejected as non-responsive and thus ineligible for award.
