Common use of Protection of Personal Information and Data Security Clause in Contracts

Protection of Personal Information and Data Security. Both parties agree to uphold their responsibilities under Applicable Data Privacy Laws, including but not limited to in the United States, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, and state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act , as applicable. Informed K12 will implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure an appropriate level of security to protect District Data, including Personal Information, as described in the Informed K12 Privacy Policy.
