Purchase of Weapon Clause Samples

The 'Purchase of Weapon' clause outlines the terms and conditions under which a buyer acquires a weapon from a seller. Purchase of Weapon. Upon retirement from the Police Division (with ten (10) years or more of service), each Bargaining Unit Member shall have the right to purchase their service weapon and related magazines. The price of the weapon will be based on a depreciation schedule of twenty percent (20%) per service year, with a minimum value of one dollar ($1.00). The Chief shall maintain a record of make, model and serial number of said weapon in the name of the retired officer.
Purchase of Weapon. Upon retirement, after twenty (20) years of service with the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Police Department, a bargaining unit member will be allowed to purchase the member's service weapon for ten percent (10%) of the weapon's initial cost.
