PURPOSE AND. The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory relations between the Corporation and its employees, and to provide machinery for the prompt and equitable disposition of grievances, and to establish and maintain satisfactory working conditions, hours and wages for all employees who are subject to the provisions of this Agreement. The Corporation recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining agent for all employees of the Public Works Maintenance Services and Parks and Facilities Maintenance Services Branches, and Traffic Field Operations Division of the Department of Operational Services, and the Property Management Services Branch and Animal Services Section of the Department of Corporate Services, save and except: persons above the rank of Working Office Staff, Adult Crossing Guards and Security Watchpersons; employees engaged in conducting and implementing the Corporation’s recreational programs; ushers and doorpersons; ticket sellers and cashiers; kiosk and concession employees; and employees by other Collective Agreements with the Corporation. As the circumstances of subsidized programs may vary considerably, the parties will discuss the matter of inclusion or exclusion of persons who may be hired, on an individual program basis, as the occasion arises.

PURPOSE AND. It is the general purpose of this Agreement to promote and improve industrial and economic between the Employer and the Union: to assure the continuous, harmonious, efficient, economical and profitable operation of the Employer, to prevent strikes and lockouts, and other disturbances or interferences with production; to secure and sustain high productivity during the term of the Agreement and to obtain the highest level of employee efficiency and performance; and to set forth the entire Agreement between the Employer and the Union, and the employees in the Bargaining Unit concerning rates of pay, hours of work and working conditions of employment.   • Purpose and Use These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the purchase of items by Buyer.   • PURPOSE AND RECOGNITION 1.01 The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory employment relations between the Employer and the Union.
