PURPOSE CLAUSE. 1.01 The purpose of this Collective Agreement ("the Agreement") is to establish mutually satisfactory relations between the Employer, the Union, and the employees, to provide a method for the prompt and equitable disposition of grievances, and to establish and maintain satisfactory working conditions, all in accordance with the provisions of this Collective Agreement. 1.02 In this Agreement, the masculine includes the feminine, and the feminine includes the masculine, where the text so indicates and, where ever the singular or masculine is used in this Agreement, it shall be considered as if the plural or feminine has been used, where the text so indicates.
