Purpose of Procedure. The Employer and the Union support and subscribe to an orderly method of adjusting grievances. To this end, the Employer and the Union agree that the procedure set forth herein shall serve as the means for the peaceful settlement of all disputes that may arise between them concerning the interpretation or application of this Agreement, without any interruption or disturbances of any sort whatsoever in the normal operations of the Employer.
