Purpose of the Grievance Procedure. The purpose of the grievance procedure is to resolve disputes peacefully and amicably without impeding the provision of essential public services. Therefore, should a grievance arise, there shall be no interruption or impeding of the work, work stoppages, strikes or lockouts on account of such differences, but an ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ effort shall be made to settle the matter promptly in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement.
