Qualification Process. The determination of whether a request qualifies for the tuition reimbursement program shall be made by the Chief of Police based upon the following considerations: a. Is there budget authority? b. Is the book necessary for said course, job related? c. Is there supervisor approval? d. Is the employee requesting reimbursement eligible for other assistance programs?
