Qualifications to Teach. The qualifications to teach in discipline/programs shall be determined by the appropriate ▇▇▇▇, in consultation with the faculty, and approved by the Vice President of Academic Affairs. Minimum qualifications shall be on file with the Deans and the Vice President of Academic Affairs and shall be updated by the faculty a minimum of every five years. In addition to the qualifications to teach in the discipline/program, all faculty members teaching online must meet the Minimum Qualifications to Teach Online approved jointly by the Union and the College.
Qualifications to Teach a) Part-time faculty members with seniority on November 22, 1991 are qualified to teach a course they apply for if: i. They fulfill the requirements under article 10.15 b); or ii. They taught the course once, successfully, in the four (4) academic years preceding the academic year for which they are applying. b) Part-time faculty members who have successfully taught a course three (3) times or more are deemed to be professionally and academically qualified to teach the same course or a closely related course. c) Part-time faculty members who apply for courses for which they are not deemed qualified under Article 10.15a) or b) must demonstrate their competence to teach the course. d) Part-time faculty members who have developed a course by virtue of Appendix H shall be deemed professionally and academically qualified to teach said course insofar as they have either successfully developed or successfully taught said course in the four
Qualifications to Teach. An adjunct faculty member is “qualified” for summer school if he or she is currently teaching or has taught the particular course for which he or she seeks the summer appointment.
Qualifications to Teach. Faculty teaching at Triton College must meet minimal academic standards to be qualified to teach, as such qualifications are set forth in this Agreement, and such requirement is applicable throughout this Negotiated Agreement and all College departments. Faculty teaching non-transferable courses must possess at least one degree level higher than the level of the coursework being taught. The minimum degree a faculty member must possess is a Bachelor’s degree. Faculty teaching courses for ( Illinois Articulation Initiative) IAI transfer to other colleges must have a Master’s degree in the subject area taught or a Master’s degree and 18 hours of post-graduate study in the subject area taught. All degrees must be issued by an institution accredited by regional or national accrediting agencies recognized by the U. S. Secretary of Education. Existing bargaining unit members, hired before July 1, 1987, shall be exempted. All others shall be given 6 years time to achieve qualification and must show annual progress of at least 1/6th of the requirement per year. Sabbatical shall be granted to those requiring 30 hours or more (they must stay employed at the college in accordance with the terms and conditions in the Negotiated Agreement or repay the college) to achieve the requisite requirement stated above. Failure to achieve the requisite requirement or to make the requisite progress shall constitute “cause” for immediate termination, regardless of tenure status, and shall relieve the College of any further duty to retrain or rehire, imposed upon the College.

  • Qualifications of Panelists All Panelists shall: (a) have expertise or experience in law, international trade, other matters covered by this Agreement, or the resolution of disputes arising under international trade agreements relevant to the subject matter of the dispute; (b) be chosen strictly on the basis of objectivity, impartiality, reliability, and sound judgment; (c) be independent of, and not be affiliated with or take instructions from, any Party; (d) not delegate their responsibilities to any other person; and (e) comply with the Model Rules of Procedure established in Annex 12 (Model Rules of Procedure).

  • Qualifications, Legal Investment All authorizations, approvals, or permits, if any, of any governmental authority or regulatory body of the United States or of any state that are required in connection with the lawful sale and issuance of the Securities and Warrant Shares shall have been duly obtained and shall be effective on and as of the Closing. No stop order or other order enjoining the sale of the Securities or Warrant Shares shall have been issued and no proceedings for such purpose shall be pending or, to the knowledge of the Company, threatened by the SEC, or any commissioner of corporations or similar officer of any state having jurisdiction over this transaction. At the time of the Closing, the sale and issuance of the Securities and the Warrant Shares shall be legally permitted by all laws and regulations to which the Purchasers and the Company are subject. No litigation, statute, rule, regulation, executive order, decree, ruling or injunction will have been enacted, entered, promulgated or endorsed by or in any court or governmental authority of competent jurisdiction or any self-regulatory organization having authority over the matters contemplated hereby which prohibits the consummation of any of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement.

  • Qualification Rights Masterworks will have the right to request that the Company qualify on Form 1-A, or a comparable form, the resale of any Class A shares beneficially owned by Masterworks or any entity administered by Masterworks. There are no limitations or restrictions on the size or frequency of such qualification requests, other than pursuant to applicable law, provided, that all costs associated with any such qualification shall be the responsibility of Masterworks.
