Rate of Accumulation Sample Clauses
Rate of Accumulation. Full-time employees shall earn cumulative sick leave at the rate of 1.25 days per month during each calendar year to a maximum of seventy-five (75) days in total. Regular part-time employees will earn sick leave on a prorated basis.
Rate of Accumulation. Vacation leave will begin accruing on an employee’s first day of employment. Vacation leave will be prorated for employees who work less than twelve (12) months per year or less than five (5) days per week. Regular part-time employees will accumulate vacation leave on the basis of hours worked. Total vacation accumulation which is allowed to be carried over from one (1) year to the next includes the current year's earned vacation plus one (1) week, if unused from the previous year. Any excess leave will be forfeited on July 1 of each year. For record keeping purposes, leave will be calculated from July 1 to June 30.
Rate of Accumulation. Part-time employees who work an average of 19 hours per week or more shall accrue pro-rated sick leave benefits. Sick leave will not accumulate while an employee is on a leave of absence, short-term disability or long-term disability.

Full-time employees, other than casual, recurring relief and students, will accumulate sick leave up to a maximum of one hundred and twenty (120) days on the regular hours stated for that classification on an hours per month basis as follows: Part-time employees will accumulate credits on a pro-rata basis. Where an employee commences employment on other than the first day of the month, sick leave accrual shall be pro-rated based upon the hours worked in the month.

Subd. 1. Full-time employees hired other than on July 1 shall be credited with a pro-rated amount of paid absence leave.
Subd. 2. Full-time employees who terminate employment prior to the completion of a school year who have exhausted their paid absence leave, shall reimburse the School Board for paid absence leave used in excess of the prorated portion of leave earned based upon the number of days worked to the total work year.

Full-time 12-month unit members shall earn vacation leave at the following schedule: 0 through 4 years of service 1 work day/work month 5 years of service or more 1 ¼ work days/work month Full-time 12-month unit members shall also receive one (1) additional day of vacation leave for each full year of service over five (5) full years of service, up to a maximum benefit of 22 days of vacation leave. Unit Members working less than 12 months per year and/or less than full time shall accrue vacation leave on a prorated basis.
Rate of Accumulation. Sick leave accumulates at the rate of six (6) days per semester and shall be limited to 150 days of total accumulation. Accumulated sick leave shall be reported monthly on the payroll forms and a record of total days available will be available in the office of the Immediate Superior. Bargaining unit members hired prior to July 1, 2019 whose sick balance exceeded 150 days as of July 1, 2019 will have their sick balance capped at that level for the duration of their employment in this bargaining unit.
