RATES OF PAY AND CLASSIFICATIONS. 7:01 New Classifications: When the Employer utilizes employees not covered by existing classifications, the Employer will establish the rate for such classification and notify the Union in writing within two (2) days of employment. If the Union disagrees with the rate, the proper Union representatives will advise the Employer in writing within fifteen (15) days from the date of notification requesting negotiation. In the event that such negotiations do not result in agreement upon the classification within seven (7) days of commencement of negotiations or such longer period as may be mutually agreed between the parties, the matter shall be resolved by an Arbitration Board as provided in the grievance procedure. The wage rate established shall become effective on the date upon which notice is given to commence negotiations.
