Common use of Recognition and Duration Clause in Contracts

Recognition and Duration. 1.2.1 The Board continues for the term of this Agreement to recognize the Association as the sole and exclusive representative for the purpose of collective negotiations and the administation of grievances of the employees of the District in an employer-employee current negotiating unit consisting of the following positions: Principals Assistant Principals Curriculum Coordinator Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics Director of Special Education Assistant Director of Special Education 1.2.2 The term of this Agreement begins at 12:01 AM on July 1, 2016 and ends at 11:59 pm on June 30, 2019. 1.2.3 Each provision of this Agreement goes into effect when the term of this Agreement begins and continues until this Agreement is replaced by another.
