RECOGNITION (continued). Only full-time permanent employees will be represented by this Union that come within the jurisdiction of this Agreement. Part time and seasonal employees are excluded from the bargaining unit. The number of hours that establish Part time employment shall be defined by the City. Seasonal employees are defined as those employees who are hired for limited periods of time not to exceed six months including employees sponsored by the jobs training partnership act (JTPA) and Michigan Youth Corps (MYC) or other federal or state jobs programs. Where Union concurrence is required prior to City participation in JTPA or MYC programs, the Union shall not withhold such concurrence and specifically shall not do so as a result of a dispute with the City over grievances or contract negotiations.
