Common use of Reconnection Charges Clause in Contracts

Reconnection Charges. In addition to any other charges that may be due, in those cases where a customer’s service has been disconnected for any reason as set forth in Commission Rule R.103-732.5, a reconnection fee shall be due in the amount of $40.00 and shall be due prior to the Utility reconnecting service.

In addition to any other charges that may be due, in those cases where a customer’s service has been disconnected for any reason as set forth in Commission Rule R.103R. 103-732.5, 532.4 a reconnection fee shall be due in the amount of $40.00 and 500.00 shall be due prior to at the Utility reconnecting time the customer reconnects service. Where an elder valve has been previously installed, a reconnection fee of $40.00 shall be charged.
