Common use of Record Model Clause in Contracts

Record Model. also known as a BIM Handover Model, is a digital representation of a building or infrastructure project that documents its completed state, incorporating all As-Built information and relevant data required for Operation and Maintenance throughout the building's lifecycle. The Model is prepared by the Architect/Engineer from the Design Model and must reflect onsite changes, deviations, and feedback noted in the As-Built Models and associated As-Built Drawings at the prescribed level of development (LOD). The Record Model must, at a minimum, contain the HAS required systems information, comply with the HAS BIM requirements, and the HAS BIM Standard Manual. The Record Model will contain the same LOD and level of information as prescribed in the Design and Construction Model. Otherwise, it should be noted in the BPxP.
