Record Model Clause Samples

The Record Model clause defines the specific format and structure in which records or data must be maintained and exchanged between parties. Typically, this clause outlines the required fields, data types, and any standards or templates that must be followed when creating or sharing records, such as using a particular spreadsheet format or database schema. Its core practical function is to ensure consistency, accuracy, and interoperability in record-keeping, thereby reducing misunderstandings and facilitating efficient data management.
Record Model. The term “Record Model” means the version of the BIM that will be updated throughout Construction Work to reflect As-Built conditions of the Project.
Record Model. Model reflecting As-Built conditions at the prescribed level of development (LOD), prepared by the Architect/Engineer from the Design Model and must reflect on-site changes noted in the As- Built Models and associated As-Built Drawings.
Record Model also known as a BIM Handover Model, is a digital representation of a building or infrastructure project that documents its completed state, incorporating all As-Built information and relevant data required for Operation and Maintenance throughout the building's lifecycle. The Model is prepared by the Architect/Engineer from the Design Model and must reflect onsite changes, deviations, and feedback noted in the As-Built Models and associated As-Built Drawings at the prescribed level of development (LOD). The Record Model must, at a minimum, contain the HAS required systems information, comply with the HAS BIM requirements, and the HAS BIM Standard Manual. The Record Model will contain the same LOD and level of information as prescribed in the Design and Construction Model. Otherwise, it should be noted in the BPxP.
Record Model. The Record Model shall, at a minimum, contain Architectural, Structural, and MEP system information. The Record Model will, in addition, contain all relevant Design, Construction, 4D Coordination Models, and Subcontractor Fabrication Models as required in contract documents. The Record Model will be in BIM native format (i.e. .rvt) and Navisworks format (.nwd) compiled and prepared by the Consultant team. Each discipline will document all RFIs to their discipline. As-built changes marked-up by the Construction manager and issued by the Owner during the construction phase will be captured by the General Contractor. Scope of As-built changes to be agreed upon between Owner and Consultant team and set out in the contract. The completed model will be given to the Owner as the Record model upon substantial completion.
Record Model. Upon Substantial Completion of the Project, the Constructor is to provide the Designer with As-Built information in accordance with the requirements of the BIMxP. The Designer is required to verify the information in accordance with the requirements and standards in the underlying Designer Agreement.
Record Model the BIM model prepared by the Designer from the Design Model to reflect on-site changes that the Design Build Contractor noted in the As-Built Models. I. The BPxP defines BIM requirements which shall be performed during Project execution. The BPxP at a minimum shall include: 1. Project information 2. Key Project contacts 3. Project goals / BIM uses 4. BIM process design 5. BIM information exchanges 6. BIM and facility data requirements 7. Modeling requirements
