Record Retention Requirements, Generally. Unless otherwise specified by this Contract or by state or federal law, the Contractor shall keep all documents and reports required by this Contract for a period of 6 years. Such documents include, but are not limited to, the attestation forms required by Article 6.3.2, Contractor’s policies and procedures, Contractor’s member handbooks, and copies of reports required by the Department.

(B) The Contractor shall comply with the record retention and record access requirements for award recipients found in 45 CFR 74.53 which requires the Contractor to maintain financial records, supporting documents, statistical records, and all other records pertaining to an award to be retained for a period of three years from the date of submission of the final expenditure report or, for awards that are renewed quarterly or annually, from the date of the submission of the quarterly or annual financial report.
