Common use of Records Availability Clause in Contracts

Records Availability. The Grantee agrees to maintain complete and accurate books and records of the Project Costs, and further, to retain all books, records, and other documents relative to this Agreement for three (3) years after final payment. The Department, its authorized agents, and/or State auditors will have full access to and the right to examine any of said materials during said period. Additionally, the Department and/or its representatives will have the right to access work sites during normal business hours, after reasonable notice to the Grantee, for the purpose of ensuring that the provisions of this Agreement are properly carried out.
