In accordance with the provisions of Article X, an appeal of reduction in class for reasons of unsatisfactory performance or physical disability, or an appeal of reduction in salary for unsatisfactory performance, shall be initiated at Step 2 of the grievance/appeal procedure; except that reductions in class or salary imposed by the County Executive Officer may be referred directly to arbitration. D. Per agreement of March 4, 2005, the parties may agree if requested by AOCDS, to substitute the Reduction in Salary form of discipline for a proposed suspension. The Reduction in Salary form of discipline may only be imposed in place of a proposed suspension if requested by AOCDS.

  • Reallocation to a Class with a Lower Salary Range Maximum 1. If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position and chooses to remain in the reallocated position, the employee retains the existing appointment status and has the right to be placed on the Employer’s internal layoff list for the classification occupied prior to the reallocation. 2. If the employee chooses to vacate the position or does not meet the skills and abilities requirements of the position, the layoff procedure specified in Article 31 of this Agreement applies.

  • Automatic Reduction Promptly following each date on which the Required Amount is reduced as a result of a reduction in the Pool Balance of the Class B Certificates or otherwise, the Maximum Commitment shall automatically be reduced to an amount equal to such reduced Required Amount (as calculated by the Borrower).
