Common use of Refrain from illegality Clause in Contracts

Refrain from illegality. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary expressed or implied in the Transaction Documents, the Facility Security Trustee may refrain without liability from doing anything which in its opinion will or may be contrary to any relevant law, directive or regulation of any applicable jurisdiction (including, but not limited to, the laws of England, the United States of America or any jurisdiction forming part of it) or any directive, law or regulation of any agency of such state or jurisdiction and the Facility Security Trustee may do anything which is, in its opinion, necessary to comply with any such law, directive or regulation.
