Regular Assignment. 1. Teachers are employed to serve the needs of the District in those areas in which they are licenses by the Illinois State Board of Education. 2. Barring any unforeseen circumstance, each teacher shall be notified on or prior to the last day school is in session of tentative teaching assignment for the following school year. Changes in assignment(s) subsequent to the above date shall be made only when necessary to implement the educational progress, and any teacher so affected shall be given prompt, written notification of change.
