Common use of Regular Use Clause in Contracts

Regular Use. The regular use of sick leave entitles an employee to use his/her accumulated sick leave for any absence necessitated by illness of the employee, an employee’s minor child, his/her spouse, his/her parent or by off-duty employee injury not incurred in supplemental employment upon approval by his/her department or division director.

Regular Use. The regular use of sick leave entitles an employee to use his/her accumulated sick leave for any absence necessitated by illness of the employee, an employee’s minor child, his/her spouse, his/her parent personal illness or by off-duty employee injury not incurred in supplemental employment or the illness of spouse, child or parent, upon approval by his/her department or division director. The same standards shall apply for medical appointments during work hours when such appointments previously were not required to be charged to sick leave.
