Regular Hours Clause Samples
The 'Regular Hours' clause defines the standard working hours during which an employee is expected to perform their duties. Typically, this clause specifies the days of the week and the start and end times that constitute a normal workday, such as Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It may also clarify expectations regarding breaks and whether work outside these hours is considered overtime. The core function of this clause is to establish clear expectations for both employer and employee regarding work schedules, thereby reducing misunderstandings and helping to manage workload and compensation.
